After breakfast in Arusha, your group will hit the road around 8:00 AM, heading to Tarangire National Park—famous for its ancient baobab trees and large herds of elephants. As you enter the park, the adventure begins with a full-day game drive across its diverse landscapes. Look out for lions, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and an impressive variety of birdlife.

Enjoy a full-day crater tour with a chance to see the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—all within a breathtaking collapsed volcano. The crater floor is a rich wildlife habitat, with hippos lounging in pools and flamingos decorating the soda lake. Your guide will find the best spots for wildlife sightings and a scenic picnic lunch.
Later in the afternoon, you’ll drive up to the highlands and overnight in Karatu, a charming town nestled among rolling hills and coffee farms.
