After breakfast in Arusha, your group will hit the road around 8:00 AM, heading to Tarangire National Park—famous for its ancient baobab trees and large herds of elephants. As you enter the park, the adventure begins with a full-day game drive across its diverse landscapes. Look out for lions, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and an impressive variety of birdlife.

Expect a scenic and peaceful environment with fewer crowds, perfect for photography and immersive wildlife viewing. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park with views of the Tarangire River. In the evening, you’ll head to your lodge or tented camp nestled near the park for a restful night and dinner with your group.

Today’s highlight is a visit to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After breakfast, you’ll drive to the crater rim and descend 600 meters into what is often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”

Enjoy a full-day crater tour with a chance to see the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—all within a breathtaking collapsed volcano. The crater floor is a rich wildlife habitat, with hippos lounging in pools and flamingos decorating the soda lake. Your guide will find the best spots for wildlife sightings and a scenic picnic lunch.

Later in the afternoon, you’ll drive up to the highlands and overnight in Karatu, a charming town nestled among rolling hills and coffee farms.

After an early breakfast, the group departs for Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush groundwater forest, tree-climbing lions, and expansive lake often dotted with flamingos. The park is a hidden gem offering a mix of jungle, savannah, and wetland scenery.

You’ll enjoy a game drive along the lake shore and through the forested areas in search of elephants, baboons, hippos, and colorful birdlife. Around midday, the group will have a final picnic lunch and begin the drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
